Mike Jackson

Chief Executive Officer – Johannesburg, South Africa

Mike brings over two decades of leadership experience spanning multiple industries on five continents. His career includes mine operating experience with Barrick Goldstrike; progressive project and general management in advanced technology with Modular Mining Systems; and area management and business development experience with Schindler Elevators and Escalators.

Mike excels at the definition and development of business plans, systems justification, management of the commercial elements and the implementation of AHS solutions as well as other stand-alone mine management, safety and productivity improvement technology applications. He has a strong background and senior-level experience in solving operational challenges and achieving business development objectives related to product marketing, sales, services, deployment and support. He has lived and worked in the USA, Canada, Australia, Africa, Europe and the Middle East and has a proven track record in demanding environments including company turnarounds and emerging market development.

At Ramjack Technology Solutions, Mike is responsible for idea creation, international business development, technology partner relationships and company leadership. Mike has a BSc. Mining Engineering (Queen’s University, Canada), and MBA (IMD International, Switzerland).

Rupert

Steph Cantin

Vice President – Latin America

Steph brings 25 years of mining and technology experience, including senior-level experience in solving mine operational challenges globally through the use of technologies. During his career he has worked with Goldcorp Porcupine  consulting, training, change management, sales and services for General Mine Planning (GMP) as well as real time open pit and underground operations management (HW and SW) systems. He has held product management roles for both hardware and software products, and has assisted companies such as Dasseault Systeme’s GEOVIA, Modular Mining Systems, Newtrax and Ramjack achieve record growth through putting in best practice business development, marketing, sales, services, deployment and support processes. He has lived and worked in Canada, Africa, the USA and Chile (Latin America), helping mines and vendor companies achieve sustainable business growth.

Rupert Birch

Vice President – EMENA

The bulk of Rupert’s career has centered around the foundation and growth of the world’s largest content provider for leading trade publications; Global Business Reports. Over the 15 years that Rupert managed the organization, he grew it from a single office to a worldwide operation with a presence on every continent covering industries such as chemicals, minerals, petroleum and pharmaceuticals.

As Managing Director, Rupert’s roles have included strategy, business development, crisis management and leadership of a company with operations in diverse and often dangerous locations around the world. Rupert has intimate knowledge of the complexities of developing a small entrepreneur-centric firm into a professional organisation able to operate independently and achieve challenging goals. Having established Ramjack Technology Solutions in Europe, Rupert is responsible for growing the company’s presence in the Europe, Middle East and North Africa region; from company leadership, business development, project management & implementation through to overall strategy.

Kofi Appiah-Dwomoh

Kofi Appiah-Dwomoh

VP – West Africa

Kofi brings an extensive background in mining, including operator experience at Gold Fields Tarkwa Mine; Intellimine Dispatch Specialist with Modular Mining Systems Africa; Systems Deployment manager at AGA global and Debswana Jwaneng Mine in Botswana; and Dispatch Systems Management at Newmont Ahafo Mine and AGA Siguiri Gold Mine.

At Ramjack Technology Solutions, Kofi is responsible for business development and operations management of the West African Region.

Kofi has a Bachelors of Science degree in Mining Engineering from KNUST, Ghana, as well as a Masters of Science degree in Mining Engineering from UMaT, Ghana. Kofi has lived and worked in the Ghana, Mali, Guinea, South Africa and Botswana.
