A Message from Our CEO

Mike Jackson, Chief Executive Officer, Ramjack Technology Solutions

Dear Friends and Partners,

It has been a busy and productive few months. I want to share a few updates on where we have been, what we are seeing, and where we are headed.

We attended a number of events across Canada, South Africa and Ghana, and the conversations there were telling. The appetite for integrated operational technology among C-suite leaders at producing gold and copper companies is real and growing. Operators are no longer asking whether they need technology integration – they are asking who can actually deliver it. That is a good place for Ramjack to be.

One theme that came up consistently – at CIM in Vancouver, at WAMPEX in Accra, and in client conversations across the board – is Integrated Operations Centres (IOC). The IOC discussion has matured significantly. A few years ago, we were still explaining the concept. Now operators are coming to us with a much clearer brief: they understand what a IOC can do, they have seen it work elsewhere, and they want to know how to build the case internally and what implementation actually looks like. Ramjack has been running the rROC (Ramjack Remote Operations Center) since before it was fashionable, and that track record matters when clients are making decisions about mission-critical infrastructure. The conversation is moving from “should we” to “how do we” — and that is exactly where we want it.

None of this happens in a straightforward environment. The world is genuinely unstable right now – geopolitical tensions are reshaping supply chains, capital allocation is getting more selective, and the regulatory landscape is moving faster than most organisations can track. I am not going to pretend that does not create complexity for our clients or for us.

But here is what I know: Ramjack was built for exactly this kind of environment. We are not a single-solution business tied to one geography or one commodity. We work across jurisdictions, regulatory frameworks, and operating conditions that most technology providers would not even attempt. That adaptability is not incidental to what we do – it is the core of it. When the environment shifts, we adjust. We always have.

As we head into the second half of the year, Electra Mining Africa in September is front of mind. It is the most important mining technology event on the African calendar, and the themes covered in this newsletter –  IOCs, compliance-driven performance, ESG integration, and the operational case for technology — are exactly the conversations we expect to be having on the show floor.

Keep on keepin’ on.

Mike
