As we settle into year end, after an invigorating 12-month journey, I wanted to share some of the highlights from our team here at Ramjack. In the midst of an incredibly busy year, one of the most exciting things for us was to be able to take a pause and showcase at Electra Mining in September. It was exciting to be in Johannesburg as the mining industry gathered from across the globe. We had a fantastic week reconnecting with staff, customers, partners, and friends who all came together to celebrate advancements in mining, and remind us of all the great partnerships we have.
With ESG on everyone’s minds, we spent significant effort this past year to help the industry expand its approach to safety through tailings facility management best-practices, and produced a series of articles to highlight some of the ways mines can continue to elevate the processes surrounding TSF management and optimisation. The technology out there exists to completely eliminate unexpected TSF failures, and to mitigate the impact that these events have, not only on a mining operation, but on the surrounding communities as well. Our goal is to continue to help raise awareness and prevent catastrophic events that are 100% avoidable in today’s technology age.
And finally, as we embrace the fast approach of 2023, we’re pleased to announce that Ramjack’s first-ever User Conference has been scheduled for May 22-25th 2023. We invite you to join us in South Africa for networking, educational sessions, technology how-to’s, and see first-hand how other mines are leveraging their own technologies for further advancements. We’ll be creating an intimate, peer-to-peer setting, for mining professionals to share how they’ve leveraged their existing technologies to achieve wins of all sizes, including: technology demonstrations, panel discussions and deep dives into Ramjack’s service portfolio.

In closing, I am reminded of how grateful I am for our partnerships and the work we get to do together to better the mining industry through technology. I wish you a peaceful holiday season as we close out 2022 with great excitement for 2023.
