Letter from Mike – Ramjack Review Edition 14

Dear Colleagues and Partners,

As we hit the mid-point of 2025, I want to take a moment to reflect on Ramjack’s commitment to solutions that positively impact the health, safety, and efficiency of underground and surface mining environments.

Whether it’s the implementation of gas monitoring and ventilation management solutions featured in this issue, or the integration of specialized systems across the mining value chain, the message is clear: the pragmatic evolution of operational technology means safer, more productive mines.

Recently, we’ve started to see the real-world results coming from our network revitalization projects. These stories showcase how a fit-for-purpose network is truly transformative for mining operations.  Modernizing a mine’s digital infrastructure is instrumental in creating the operational intelligence needed to evolve to meet the demands of mining today and tomorrow.

And as you’ll see in our feature on agile integration, meeting these demands is becoming more and more difficult with only standard, off-the-shelf solutions. Much of our effort at Ramjack is designed around delivering technology roadmaps backed by systems that fit, scale, and perform under real conditions – and ensuring those tools work together.  That’s the value of a partner who understands both the technology and the environment it must thrive in.

Stay tuned for our upcoming Webinar on Geotechnical Monitoring. In an industry where real-time decisions can mean the difference between progress and catastrophe, geotechnical monitoring stands as a vital system of checks and balances. It delivers critical insights into ground stability and potential hazards, empowering operators to act early, act smarter, and act safely.

Thank you for being part of our journey. Together, we’re proving that getting technology right in mining isn’t about change for its own sake, it’s about meaningful progress for people, processes, and performance. As always, we’re grateful to have you in our corner.

Keep on keepin’ on,

Mike
